Bio
I grew up on the outskirts of Rovaniemi in Northern Finland, near the Arctic Circle — where long winters and quiet surroundings leave plenty of room for imagination.
I stepped in front of the camera for the first time at the age of seven in Rikos & Rakkaus, and something about it immediately felt like home. That early experience sparked a curiosity that kept pulling me back to the stage and screen.
After some early experience in amateur theatre, I moved to Tampere in 2011 to study at the Finnish Theatre Academy (Suomen Teatteriopisto). I completed both the Standard Studies in Acting (2012) and Further Studies in Acting (2013), and received the Most Improved Acting Award in both years.
I then moved to Helsinki, where I studied at a private musical theatre school (2013–2014). At the same time, I completed a Bachelor of Arts at the University of Helsinki in Theatre Research and Film and Television Studies, graduating in 2017. I also spent a year studying and performing in English, and graduated from the English Drama course at West Finland College in 2018.
Alongside my studies and ever since I have worked across film and theatre, and always had a place in my heart for improvisation theatre. What draws me to this profession is its sense of discovery, challenge, and the opportunity to explore complex, compelling characters. Above all, I am drawn to the spirit of adventure and the joy of discovering something new.
